How to add DropUI to Shopify?
Copy the script
Find the ready script in your DropUI panel. One click and it's in your clipboard.
Paste in Shopify
Online Store > Themes > Edit code > theme.liquid. Paste the script before the closing head tag.
Create campaigns
Go back to DropUI and create your first campaign. It appears on your store immediately after publishing.
Frequently asked questions
Does the script slow down my Shopify store?
No. The script weighs a few kilobytes and loads asynchronously. This means it doesn't block the rest of your page from loading. Your customers won't notice any difference in store speed. We've tested this on hundreds of stores.
Do I need to hire a developer?
No. The entire installation is pasting one script in Shopify admin. If you can copy and paste text, you can do it. You don't need to understand the code. In DropUI panel you do everything visually, dragging elements and picking options from lists.
Can I show popups only to specific customers?
Yes, and this is one of the most important features. You can set rules: show popup only when cart value exceeds a certain amount, hide for logged in customers, display only in specific countries or currencies. DropUI automatically pulls this information from your Shopify store.
What is exit intent and does it work on Shopify?
Exit intent detects when a customer is about to leave your page. Cursor moving toward the browser close button? That's when you show a popup with a last chance offer. Works great on desktop. On mobile we use different triggers like scrolling up the page or time spent on page.
How fast will I see the popup on my store after creating it?
Immediately. You click Publish in DropUI panel and the campaign is live. No need to change anything in your store code. You can also schedule a campaign for a specific date and time.
Does DropUI work with other Shopify apps?
Yes. DropUI is an external script that doesn't conflict with apps installed in your store. You can use it alongside Klaviyo, Mailchimp, other marketing tools. Leads from DropUI can be automatically sent to those systems via Zapier or Make.
